Path to Graduation
Graduating is a significant milestone in your academic journey. We're here to guide you every step of the way towards achieving this important goal.

Understanding Graduation Requirements for Success
Meeting graduation requirements is crucial for students to achieve their academic goals. It ensures they are well-prepared for future endeavors, whether in higher education or the workforce.

Understanding Graduation Credit Requirements
Students must complete 24 academic credits to graduate, including 4 credits in English and 3 credits each in Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Additional credits in electives and physical education are also required.
Portfolios and Defense Exhibitions
Before graduating from Impact Academy, students must prove their true readiness to succeed in college through the College Success Portfolio. All 12th grade students work hard throughout the year to assemble a portfolio of their work and must give a formal presentation and dissertation-style defense in front of a panel of their teachers and peers. Similarly, 10th graders complete and defend a portfolio to demonstrate they are ready for the 11th grade. All 8th grade students prepare an 8th Grade Defense to show their growth during Middle School. Through these capstone activities, our students develop our 4 Mindsets including: Discovery, Reasoning, Growth and Team; as well as our 21st Century Leadership Skills including: Productive Collaboration, Effective Project Management, Powerful Communication, and Critical Thinking, skills essential for success in the real world.
Pass all courses required for CSU/UC eligibility (A-G requirements).
Every spring, Impact Academy is buzzing with the excitement of graduation. Seniors are exhilarated and it’s well deserved!
