Welcome

Meet Our Inspiring High School Principal, Dr. Katrina Guillory

It is with great excitement that we introduce Dr. Katrina Guillory as the new principal of Envision Education's Impact Academy High School of Technology and Arts. Dr. Guillory is a visionary educator and a transformational leader dedicated to fostering equitable and innovative learning environments where every student can achieve their full potential.

Dr. Guillory's extensive career in education has seen her excel in a variety of roles, from a dedicated classroom teacher to an impactful school administrator. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to leveraging data to inform instruction and a belief in the power of a collaborative and empowering culture. This approach was instrumental in her work at a new high school, where she was part of the leadership team that guided the campus from a projected "D" to a "B" rating in the Texas Education Agency's accountability system within a single year.

A champion for all learners, Dr. Guillory has a proven track record of implementing systems that support both academic and social-emotional growth. She has consistently focused on creating inclusive school communities, maintaining a student attendance rate of 95% or higher and ensuring that over 80% of students are engaged in some form of extracurricular school activity at her previous high school, whether it was performing and visual arts, sports, or student organizations. Her work is grounded in a philosophy of leading with innovation and a future-focused vision, embracing technology and creative problem-solving to meet the evolving needs of students.

Beyond her campus leadership, Dr. Guillory is a published author in the field of educational technology and a respected presenter on topics of equity and student engagement. She holds a double major Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Policy Studies from Rice University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, also from Lamar University.

With an unwavering commitment to equity and a relentless focus on continuous improvement, Dr. Guillory is poised to lead Impact Academy to new heights. We are confident that her passion for education and her proven ability to build thriving learning environments will empower every student to achieve their dreams and make a positive impact on our world.
